Pólitík á mannamáli
Verkefnið Step Up For Europe https://www.stepupforeurope.eu/ á vegum JCI á alþjóðavísu hvetur ungt fólk um alla Evrópu til þess að standa upp og láta sig mikilvæg málefni varða. JCI á Íslandi vill taka þátt og hvetja ungt fólk á Íslandi að gera slíkt hið sama og kafa í hvernig álit og traust það ber til íslenskra stjórnmála í dag.
-Viðburðurinn fer fram í Háskóla Íslands Árnagarði stofu 201-
Á þessum viðburði verður skipt í hópa eftir umræðuefnum þar sem allir geta rætt á jafningjagrundvelli um mikilvægi þess að ungt fólk hafi áhuga og taki þátt í pólitískum ákvarðanaferlum. Engar skoðanir eru réttar eða rangar, heldur munu allar skoðanir fá vægi. Lóðsarar munu leiða umræðurnar hlutlaust og sjá til þess að rýmið sé öruggt öllum til tjáningar. Niðurstaða umræðnanna verður safnað saman í skjal sem verður afhent Alþingisfólkinu okkar.

We want to call and motivate young people all over Europe to step up for Europe and take action to shape the future of their continent. Young leaders must act now by embracing their shared European identity, advocating for the positions of young active citizens in Europe and taking part in political decision-making processes. JCI Iceland wants to motivate young people in Iceland to take the initiative next Monday to share their thoughts about Icelandic policies and politics and how we can do better.
-The event will take place at the University of Iceland in Árnagarður in room 201
All opinions are neither right or wrong, but they can all matter greatly. Facilitators will see that the space will be safe for everyone to be seen allow their voice to be heard. A reflection paper of this event will be gathered together and handed to the Icelandic Government.
Let’s take the initiative and start having the conversation.
